Hole #5 is a par 5 that requires two quality shots to give you a chance to walk away with a birdie. The tee shot down the middle will be rewarded with a clear look at the green. If you hit it right off the tee, you have some tree trouble if you attempt to reach the green in two shots. A smart play would be to layup to a comfortable wedge distance on the 2nd shot and hit it close and make the putt! The green guarded by a deep bunker, and the green has a good amount of slope so holding the green from the second shot can be tough, so that’s why a short layup is a great play!
