This weekend is arguably more exciting than last—at least here at Eaglebrooke! We are hosting our annual Member Guest Tournament. During this 3-day event, our members invite a guest to enjoy a weekend of all-inclusive golf, food & prizes! It is an excellent occasion for us to showcase our services and we look forward to it every year!
Member Guest weekend was highly anticipated this year, as the 2020 event was canceled due to coronavirus related concerns. With many of our members and guests having been vaccinated, (and because most of the event takes place outdoors) our management team feels confident that we can execute this event safely!
This elevated golf tournament experience features practice rounds on Friday, followed by three 9-hole matches on Saturday, and a grand finale of two 9-hole matches on Sunday. If a tie breaker is needed, those teams will re-match on hole #18, located just outside the Clubhouse where everyone can watch!
Chef & his team will be serving up several delicious options at stations on the golf course! Breakfast burritos, Italian subs, pulled pork sandwiches, and smoked brisket are just a few of his offerings that players can grab-and-go during or between their rounds.
Over the years, we have developed an excellent relationship with our local liquor distributor, Bernie Little! Our Clubhouse Manager, Brad, has arranged for them to serve specialty products from a tent on the course, as well. They will be highlighting the brand-new line of Cutwater Spirits, which include ready made cocktails in a can, such as the Vodka Mule, Long Island Iced Tea, Tequila Paloma, and several flavors of Margaritas! Refreshing and delicious, these are sure to be a hit amongst our players this weekend!
And finally, when the tournament is said & done, our members and guests will peruse the online Acushnet Pro Shop for their tee gifts! Whether they choose shoes, shirts, or golf balls their selections will be conveniently drop shipped to their house.
We hope to thoroughly impress our players this weekend. With a full field of 60 teams—the most in Eaglebrooke Member Guest history—this will absolutely be a year to remember. We hope to have everyone join us again next year!
